Once the form is ready in terms of content and design and you have set up the automations and, where relevant, an animation, embed it on your website. You find the script and code of the form in the left menu of the form under Embed Code. The form has to be in the Ready to use state.

The Embed Code page.

The form sends personal data, so it is displayed only on a secured website with an https address.

The form creates new contacts in Quanda or updates existing ones, so keep an eye on whether you are approaching the contact limit of your plan. You find the limit under the three dots in Settings / Your Account / Subscription settings, and the current number of contacts in Contacts / Contact list at the bottom left. If there were no room for new contacts, Quanda would switch off all active forms on the website. More in the articles Number of contacts in your account and How can I change my plan?.

Script and code for displaying the form

You embed the form into an HTML page with two parts, Script and Code. You have two options:

  • Paste the script and code directly into the page body one after the other, at the place where the form should appear.
  • Paste the script into the page head and then only the code itself into the page body.

The page head starts with the <head> tag and ends with the </head> tag.

Paste the script anywhere between these tags.

If your site runs on WordPress, you paste the script into the head with a plugin, see WordPress plugin.

The code goes into the source code directly in a post or section of your website. In your content management system, switch the post to the source code view (not the text view) and paste the code there.

Fixed and animated form

A fixed form appears exactly where you paste the code. For a form with an animation you paste the same script and code, and the form then slides out according to the animation settings. If you chose in the animation to show the form only after a particular place on the page is displayed, paste the code at exactly that place in the text (the source code).

With the Check settings button you verify that the script and code are pasted on the page correctly. Enter the address of the page and click Check.

Address for displaying the form as a website

The form does not have to be on your website at all. When you want to send it only to particular recipients, for example as a link in a button of a simple e-mail campaign, copy the link from this section.
