You find the number of contacts in your account in the Contacts / Contact list menu, where the total number is at the top in the Total circle and at the bottom below the list. You find the limit of your plan under the three dots in Settings / Your Account / Subscription settings. The number of contacts is the main difference between Quanda plans: the number stated with a plan means how many contacts your database in Quanda can hold in total.

Which contacts count

All contacts stored in the Contact list count towards the limit, including contacts you have not sent anything to yet. Contacts from forms with double opt-in count only after the e-mail address is confirmed.

So pick for Quanda the contacts you really intend to target your e-mail campaigns at and that you will actively use. How to prepare the database before import is described in the article Export of contacts and preparation for their import.

Why not to delete unsubscribed contacts

When some contacts unsubscribe from receiving e-mails, keep them in the database. Quanda records that they do not want e-mails and does not include them in campaigns. If you deleted them and later imported them again, for example from a CRM or accounting program, Quanda would treat them as new contacts and start sending them campaigns again. More in the article Unsubscribed contacts.

What happens when the limit is reached

When the limit is full, you can no longer add new contacts by import or through forms on the website. In that case Quanda switches off all active forms so that no contacts are created for which there is no room. So watch the number of contacts especially when you collect contacts with a form or prepare a larger import.

How to change the number of contacts

When your database has grown or shrunk, ask for a change in Settings / Your Account / Subscription settings with the Request to change settings button and the Changing the number of contacts option. The steps are described in the article How can I change my plan?. You will find the complete overview of plans and prices on the pricing page, where you can calculate the price for your number of contacts.
