In Quanda you add an attachment to an email as a link: you upload the file to a shared storage service such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or your website and put the link to it into a button in the Email editor. Recipients open or download the file by clicking the button, and the campaign statistics show you how many people clicked it.

This is what a button with an attachment can look like in an email:

  1. Sign in to your Google account and open Google Drive (in the Google apps under the nine dots in the top right corner).
  2. Upload the file you want to send. You can keep files for sharing in a separate folder.
  3. Click Share on the file (for a PDF, through the three dots).
  4. In the Get link section, change the access to Anyone with the link. Leave the permission set to Viewer.
  5. Click Copy link.

Set access to the file so that anyone with the link can open it.
  1. In the Email editor, drag the Button component from the right panel into the email.
  2. Change the button text, for example to "Download the price list (PDF)", and adjust its color, shape and size as needed.
  3. In the right panel, in the Link section, choose Link as the Link Type and paste the address copied from Google Drive.
  4. In the Enter a link title field, type the text that appears when someone hovers over the button, for example "Price list to download as a PDF".
  5. Save the email and check in the preview that the file opens when you click the button.

A link to a file on OneDrive, Dropbox or your website works the same way. Always check that the file opens for someone who is not signed in to your account. How to work with components is explained in Email editor of a simple email campaign. You can offer large tables for download the same way, see Inserting a table into the editor.
