The e-mail editor is the step where you create the content of your e-mail. You start from a ready-made template or a blank e-mail, fill in the subject, build the content from components and set the look of the whole e-mail. In a simple campaign you get to it from the Recipients page.

How to choose a template

On the Choose a template that you like page you have three options:

  • Start creating your own email opens a blank e-mail in the editor.
  • Create email using HTML opens a code editor for your own HTML e-mail. The steps are described in the article How to create an HTML email.
  • Select template on one of the templates in the Your templates section (templates saved in your account) or the Public templates section (ready-made templates from Quanda).

You can search the templates with the field and the Filter button. A template of your own that you no longer need is removed with the Delete button. You will find more about templates in the article Email template.

How to build the content of the e-mail

The e-mail is made up of rows. A row can have one to five columns. You drag a component into the e-mail with the mouse from the panel on the right or insert it with the right mouse button. Individual elements can be moved, copied and deleted. When you click an element, its settings appear in the panel on the right, for an image for example the source, size and alternative text.

You insert the salutation and other contact details with the Personalization button in the text block. The steps are described in the article Personalization in campaigns.

How to save the e-mail and continue

The editor saves the e-mail in progress automatically, but we still recommend saving it manually with the Save button below the e-mail. When the e-mail is finished, click Save ► Automation and continue to the automation settings or go straight to the Sending Settings page in the menu on the left.

To insert a table into the e-mail, follow the article Inserting a table into the editor. The right image size is described in the article Image size in an e-mail campaign.
