An active form is a form on your website that collects email addresses: when a visitor fills it in and submits it, Quanda creates a new contact in your account from the details. You can set up automations for the form that add a label to the contact, send them a confirmation email or send you an alert that the form was filled in.
Use forms for newsletter signups, ebook or checklist downloads and for event registrations. How to design a form people will actually fill in is covered in the article How to create a signup form.

The checklist arrives within a minute.
How forms work in Quanda
- You create and set up the form in the Forms menu and design it in the drag and drop editor.
- You set up automations, for example a label and a confirmation email.
- You insert the form code into your website. The form is inserted directly as HTML, not as an iframe, so it renders quickly.
- You find each submission in completed forms and the new contact in Contacts.
Forms created before October 6, 2026 are still edited in the original editor for now. New forms are created only in the new editor.
What to keep an eye on
A secure website. The form only works on a website that runs on the secure https protocol.
Your contact limit. The form creates new contacts, so watch whether you are getting close to the contact limit of your plan. You find the limit via the three dots in the menu, Settings, Your Account, Subscription settings. You see the current number of contacts in Contacts, Contact list at the bottom left, with details in Number of contacts in your account.
When your account runs out of room for new contacts, Quanda turns off all active forms on your website.
Double opt-in. With double opt-in turned on, the contact appears in Contacts only after clicking the verification link and does not count toward the contact limit until then.
