Email unsubscribes are now kept in sync in Quanda and Raynet CRM at the same time. When a salesperson ticks Do not send campaigns on a person or client in Raynet, Quanda unsubscribes the contact. When a customer unsubscribes via the link in an email, Quanda writes the flag and a tag to Raynet. In this article you will find what exactly happens in both directions, how to turn the sync on and when a contact subscribes again after the flag is unticked in Raynet.

Key takeaways

  1. Ticking Do not send campaigns on a person or client in Raynet unsubscribes the contact in Quanda from all purposes of processing.
  2. An email unsubscribe, a manual unsubscribe and a purpose change in Quanda write the Do not send campaigns flag and the Do not send emails tag to Raynet.
  3. The write applies to every person and client with the same email, other persons of the client are not changed.
  4. You turn the sync on with three checkboxes in Additional integration settings, they are off by default.
  5. Unticking the flag in Raynet subscribes the contact again only with the tag kept and on all records with the same email.

In brief: what is new, since when, who it concerns and where to find it

  • What is new: two-way unsubscribe sync between Quanda and Raynet CRM for contact persons and clients, a record of a Raynet unsubscribe in the contact Details and a unique contact email regardless of letter case.
  • Since when: since November 2026.
  • Who it concerns: accounts with an active Raynet CRM integration, above all salespeople who work in Raynet and marketers who look after consents in Quanda.
  • Where to find it: in Quanda under the three dots, Extensions & Integrations, Raynet CRM, the Additional integration settings section.

1. Why we did it

One customer, two systems and one unsubscribe that has to hold in both. The salesperson has the customer in Raynet, marketing sends them campaigns from Quanda. When the customer said on the phone that they no longer wanted emails, the salesperson noted it in Raynet and nobody in Quanda knew. When the customer unsubscribed via the link in an email, the flag was only partly written to Raynet.

Until now, the Quanda and Raynet connection could write an unsubscribe from Quanda to Raynet only in part, and the opposite direction did not work at all. Now the unsubscribe sync is two-way and covers contact persons as well as clients. An unsubscribe holds everywhere, wherever it comes from.

2. From Raynet to Quanda: ticking Do not send campaigns

The trigger is the Do not send campaigns flag in Raynet. You can tick it on a contact person or on a client in the contact details of its primary address. Raynet sends Quanda a webhook, Quanda loads the record and finds the contact by email.

What happens in Quanda:

  • Unsubscribe from all purposes. The contact is unsubscribed from all purposes of processing, just as if they had clicked the unsubscribe link in an email. If no purpose is active any more, nothing happens.
  • An entry in the history. In the contact detail, the Details section shows a Raynet CRM update saying that email sending was cancelled for the listed purposes.
  • The flag is completed. Quanda also ticks Do not send campaigns on the client or person with the same email, so that both Raynet records show the same.
  • The default purpose on resubscribe. When you untick the flag in Raynet, Quanda turns on the default purpose of processing for the contact, not all the earlier purposes. The safeguard described in part 5 applies.

Deleting a person in Raynet behaves as before, according to the Record Deleted setting of the entity.

Tip: A customer tells you on the phone that they do not want any more emails. The salesperson ticks Do not send campaigns right in Raynet and does not have to ask anyone in marketing to unsubscribe the contact in Quanda. The contact drops out of the recipients of all campaigns.

3. From Quanda to Raynet: unsubscribe from an email, manually or from a form

Every consent change that really changes the contact's status in Quanda is written to Raynet:

  • an unsubscribe via the link in an email,
  • a manual unsubscribe in the contact detail,
  • a change of a purpose of processing and a manually added purpose,
  • consent expiry during the periodic check,
  • a double opt-in confirmation from a web form.

A bulk contact import does not write consents to Raynet. This is a known limitation to keep in mind.

What is written to Raynet: the Do not send campaigns flag and the Do not send emails tag on every person and every client with the same email, regardless of letter case. On resubscribe, the flag is cleared and the tag removed. Other persons of the client with a different email are not changed. The write goes by email, not by the internal record number, so a client number can no longer be mistaken for a person number.

The write runs in the background right after the change is saved in Quanda. Neither the user in Quanda nor the customer on a form waits for Raynet. An error on Raynet's side is logged and does not undo the unsubscribe in Quanda. Only a real change of value is written, so a change that came from Raynet is not sent back to Raynet and no loop arises.

An unsubscribe from one of several purposes is written to Raynet as a full unsubscribe only when it turns off the last active purpose. A partial unsubscribe, with one purpose off and another still on, does not reach Raynet.

Tip: In Raynet, filter the persons with the Do not send emails tag. You get an overview of customers who unsubscribed from Quanda emails, and salespeople know whom not to offer the newsletter to.

4. How to turn it on: three checkboxes

You set the sync up in Quanda under the three dots / Extensions & Integrations / Raynet CRM in the Additional integration settings section. The section is visible to users with the Admin role.

The three unsubscribe sync options in Additional integration settings
Option Direction What it does
Write unsubscribes to Raynet Quanda → Raynet Writes the Do not send campaigns flag and the Do not send emails tag. Without it nothing is written to Raynet.
Unsubscribe by person Raynet → Quanda Unsubscribes contacts according to the Do not send campaigns flag on the contact person.
Unsubscribe by client Raynet → Quanda Unsubscribes contacts according to the Do not send campaigns flag on the client, by the email in the primary address.

All three options are off by default. The Activated column shows the date you turned the option on. Turning the integration off turns off all sync options, and after activating it again you have to tick them again. The step by step connection guide is in Connecting Quanda and Raynet CRM.

5. The safeguard: when a contact subscribes again after unticking in Raynet

An unticked flag is the default state of every record in Raynet. On its own it must therefore not restore a consent that the customer withdrew in Quanda. After unticking, the contact subscribes again only when both of these hold:

  1. The Raynet record still carries the Do not send emails tag that Quanda added when unsubscribing, or the last consent change of the contact came from Raynet. Unticking is then a deliberate step by the Raynet user.
  2. No other person or client with the same email in Raynet still has the Do not send campaigns flag.

On a Raynet error the contact does not subscribe again. In practice this means: whoever wants to subscribe a contact again from Raynet unticks the flag on both the person and the client with the same email and leaves the Do not send emails tag in place. Quanda removes it itself after the contact subscribes again.

If someone in Raynet deletes both the tag and the flag on a contact that unsubscribed via the link in an email, Quanda does not subscribe it again. What remains is a manual subscribe in Quanda in the contact detail.

6. What you see in the contact Details

In the contact detail in Quanda, a Raynet unsubscribe shows in two places. In the Sending Settings section the contact has the status Do not send (unsubscribe), the same as a contact unsubscribed from an email. In the Details section, the Raynet CRM update says that email sending was cancelled for the listed purposes, separated by commas.

Tip: When a customer tells you they are not getting your emails, look into the contact's Details. You see right away whether the unsubscribe came from Raynet, from the link in an email or manually, and who should cancel it if needed. All unsubscribed contacts are listed with the filter described in Unsubscribed contacts.

Unique email and double opt-in in the CRM

In the same release we unified how a contact's email is handled. An email is unique within an account regardless of letter case, so a second contact Jan@Firma.cz is no longer created next to jan@firma.cz. This applies to manual creation, the API, import, a survey form, contact duplication and writes from an integration. Existing duplicates are not changed. A double opt-in confirmation from a web form is now written to the CRM integrations as well.

What to try in Quanda right now

  • In the Raynet CRM Additional integration settings, tick all three unsubscribe sync options.
  • On a test contact in Raynet, tick Do not send campaigns and look into the contact's Details in Quanda.
  • Subscribe the same contact manually in Quanda and check that the flag and the Do not send emails tag are gone in Raynet.
  • In Raynet, save a filter of persons with the Do not send emails tag.

Unsubscribes between Quanda and Raynet: summary

An unsubscribe now holds in both systems, whether a salesperson records it in Raynet or a customer clicks the link in an email. You turn it on with three checkboxes in Additional integration settings, and thanks to the safeguard a consent withdrawn by the customer is not restored on its own.
