A user role determines what a user can do in Quanda: the Admin manages the whole account including users, the Manager sees and edits everything except users, the Project manager works with their own projects and the Seller only sees contacts and companies they own. You set the role for each user when you add them under Settings / Users.
What rights each role has
| Role | Users | Projects | Contacts and companies | Export |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Admin | adds, changes and deletes | all | all | yes |
| Manager | no | all | all | yes |
| Project manager | no | own and those where they are a co-worker | all | yes |
| Seller | no | own and those where they are a co-worker | only those they own | no |
Projects are email campaigns, surveys and forms.
Admin
The Admin (administrator) role is intended for managing the whole account. The Admin has the highest rights: adds, edits and deletes contacts, companies, projects and users. Only the Admin sees the Extensions & Integrations section, where you set up, for example, the Pipedrive connection. At most 2 users can have the Admin role.
Manager
The Manager differs from the Admin only in that they cannot add, change or delete users. They create, edit and delete everything else. They see the entire history of all projects, that is email campaigns, surveys and forms, all contacts and companies, and can export everything.
Project manager
The Project manager is the role for everyday work in Quanda. They cannot add, change or delete users. They only have access to projects they created or to which another Project manager, Manager or Admin added them as a co-worker. They see all contacts and can export.
Seller
The Seller is the role with the lowest rights. Just like the Project manager, they cannot manage users. On top of that, they only see contacts and companies for which they are set as the contact owner, cannot delete and export contacts and cannot delete companies and projects created by other users.
They can create and change projects, but must select themselves in the Co-workers field in the project settings when creating one. If they do not, they lose the rights to the project after saving the Settings page and can no longer edit it or see it on the overview.
How to set the role
You choose the role in the Role field when adding or editing a user. The article Management and adding of users describes how. The number of users depends on the plan: Standard includes 5 users, Professional 10 and Enterprise 45, see the pricing page.
