The Sending page is the last step of a campaign with A/B testing. Besides the sender, the spam test and the test e-mails, here you set how large a part of the recipients takes part in the test and how Quanda picks the winning version.
How to set the sender
In the Sender settings section, choose one of two options:
- Manually: all e-mails are sent in the name of the user you pick from the account users. Only users with a verified e-mail address are offered.
- Automatically: Quanda picks the sender for each contact separately in this order: the contact owner, if not set, then the company owner, and if that is not set either, the campaign manager chosen on the Settings page. The e-mail then comes from the person who looks after the contact. How to set the owner is described in the article Contact owner.
For smooth delivery, the sender also needs a verified sending domain, which is the part of the address after the at sign. Without a verified domain, sending is limited and Quanda warns you about it. You will find the steps in the article How to set up DNS records for sending.
In the Set an e-mail address for the answer section, we recommend keeping the default option Set automatically according to the sender (recommended). Replies then go to whoever sent the e-mail. If you want replies to go somewhere else, pick the address of another user with a verified e-mail.

How to test the e-mails for spam
In the SPAM test & content control section, you see a score for both version A and version B on a scale from 0 to 10. The closer the result is to zero, the lower the risk that the e-mail ends up in the junk mail folder. The Více link shows which rules contributed to the result. After editing the content, run the test again with the Test e-mail(s) for SPAM button.
The most common content mistakes are:
- A subject line written in capital letters only.
- A subject line with risky words such as sale or free.
- An e-mail body made up of a single image.
- More images than text.
- Text with weak contrast against the background.

How to set up the A/B test
In the A / B testing settings section, drag the green part to set how many recipients get version A and version B and how many wait for the winner. Below the slider you also see the number of contacts in both groups.
Then choose how the winning version is selected:
- A higher open rate
- A higher % of total unique clicks
- A higher number of total opened e-mails
- A higher % of clicks on the selected URL (available only when both versions contain the same link)
In the Select the winning version after field, set the evaluation period from 1 hour to 7 days. In our experience, 1 day gives the most reliable results.

How to send test e-mails
Never send a campaign until you have checked the test e-mails. In the Test e-mails sending section, enter up to three addresses in the fields Enter the e-mail address of the Test Recipient 1. to 3. and click Send test e-mail(s). You get test e-mails for all e-mails in the campaign. The test e-mail arrives within a few minutes.
Check the look, images and text, click through all links and buttons and view the e-mail on a phone as well. Fix any mistakes and send the test again.
If you used a salutation in the e-mail, the test shows the salutation of the first recipient selected on the Recipients page. The unsubscribe link is deliberately disabled in the test.

How to send or schedule the campaign
The Campaign sending section shows how many recipients the campaign goes to. If the campaign is still under construction, first change its status with the I want to change the campaign status to "Ready to send". button.
- Send Campaign Now starts sending right away. Quanda begins preparing the e-mails and sends them out gradually.
- Schedule sending opens the Date and Time fields (whole hours). Confirm the date with the Set send to… button showing the selected time. You cancel a scheduled send with the Cancel scheduled sending link.

After sending, Quanda selects group A and group B according to your settings and sends each of them their version. When the evaluation period is over, it determines the winner and automatically sends the winning version to all remaining recipients. When you schedule the campaign, you also set the time the winning version goes out.
After sending, you have 4 sets of statistics: separately for version A and version B, their comparison and the overall results for all sent e-mails.

Frequently asked questions
You set the size of the groups with the slider in the A / B testing settings section, and below it you see the number of contacts. For example, 15% of recipients get version A, 15% get version B and the remaining 70% wait for the winner. The more people in the groups, the more reliable the result.
By the criterion you choose: a higher open rate, a higher % of total unique clicks, a higher number of total opened emails, or a higher % of clicks on the selected URL.
In the Select the winning version after field you set 1 hour to 7 days. In our experience, 1 day gives the most reliable results, a shorter time only shows the fastest readers.
When the evaluation time after sending versions A and B is up. Quanda picks the winner and sends it to all remaining recipients automatically. When you schedule the campaign, you also set the time the winning version goes out.
This criterion is available only when both versions of the email contain the same link. Add the link to both versions or choose another criterion.
