Six concrete results you will be able to achieve on your own after completing all lessons and quizzes, right in your daily work or in Quanda.
You will understand what personal data, processing, a controller and a processor are, and why the trio of legal basis, purpose and validity matters for every contact.
You will tell when you need active consent and when you can send your own customers offers of similar products based on legitimate interest.
You will set up a form so that the legal basis, purpose, processing period, date of creation, source and wording of the consent are stored with the contact.
You will turn on address verification in a form, write a simple confirmation email with a single link and find out who has not completed the verification.
You will sort your existing database and fill in legal bases, purposes, statuses and validity in a CSV for thousands of contacts at once.
You will know how to respond to a request for information, a copy, a correction or erasure, how to handle an objection and why you should not delete unsubscribed contacts.
See which skills you will take away from the course and who it helps most. If you recognize yourself in the description, this course is made for you.
Every lesson ends with a quiz of 7 questions. The next lesson unlocks once you answer all of them correctly.
Once you pass all quizzes, we issue a Quanda certificate in your name. Add it to your resume or LinkedIn profile and show that you know your way around email marketing.
You complete the course in three steps: create a free learning account, work through the lessons and quizzes, and get your PDF certificate after the final quiz.
All you need is an email and password or a Google account. After confirming your email, add your name for the certificate.
Short lessons with real-world examples. Each one ends with a quiz and your progress is saved to your account.
After the final quiz, we issue a PDF certificate with a code that verifies its authenticity.
You can send your own customers offers of similar products or services based on legitimate interest, provided you obtained their address in connection with a sale. The offer must relate to a similar range and the recipient must have an easy way to opt out in every message. For communication about something completely different, legitimate interest is no longer enough.
Add a consent checkbox to the form and, in its automation, set up the Set GDPR details action with the legal basis, purpose and processing period. After submission, these details are stored with the contact together with the date and time, the source and the name of the form. You will find the content of the form, including the consent wording, in the overview of submitted forms.
Double opt-in means that after submitting a form, a person confirms their address by clicking a link in a confirmation email. Only then does the contact appear in Contacts. We recommend it whenever you collect a new contact based on consent, because it lets you prove consent from the real owner of the address and gets rid of typos. The confirmation link in Quanda is valid for 7 days. If the person does not click it, Quanda deletes their personal data from the form.
Export your contacts to a CSV, fill in the columns with legal bases as true or false in Excel, the purpose as a number from the list of purposes and the validity date. Then upload the file through the Bulk contact import with a priority that updates existing contacts. Do not import contacts whose consent you cannot prove.
No, keep unsubscribed contacts in Quanda. Deleting them would lose the sending history and the record of the unsubscribe, and you risk importing the contact again in your next import. If someone explicitly asks for erasure, however, the request needs to be assessed, possibly with a lawyer.
Yes, the course is completely free. All you need is a free learning account created with an email and password or a Google account, and a verified email address. The course is a practical guide to Quanda features and does not replace legal advice.
Each of the five lessons ends with a quiz of seven yes or no questions, and the next lesson unlocks once you answer all seven correctly. You can retake a quiz as many times as you like, and you will see an explanation for every wrong answer. After passing all quizzes you get an official Quanda certificate in PDF with your name, the course title, the date, a unique code and a QR code leading to public verification. You can download it at any time and share it on LinkedIn, Facebook and X.
The course has five lessons and takes about 1.5 hours. You learn at your own pace and can pause at any time and continue later, because your progress is saved in your learning account. The course is designed for beginners.
No, you don't. All you need is a free learning account on the Quanda website, which you create with your email or Google account. An app account comes in handy if you want to try the steps from the lessons right away, and you can start a 14-day free trial without a credit card.
We only store what we need for your studies: your email, your first and last name for the certificate, an optional phone number, your course progress and issued certificates. We process them in line with the Quanda Privacy Policy. You can delete your learning account yourself in your profile, and your progress and certificates are deleted with it. Any emails about similar content we may send you can be unsubscribed from using the link in each of them.
